Ms Karen E. Lynch
Patient Representative
Karen is a Canadian Classical Singer who has been living in Ireland for the last 26 years. While Karen has been fortunate to travel extensively for music performances and for pleasure with her husband, she has also had several health issues along the way. Karen had two back surgeries which she thinks is what started the issue with Gluteal Tendinopathy.
Karen is a great believer in physiotherapy which has helped her in the past and is certainly helping her now. She was delighted to be asked to have a role as a PPI member for this research study. She feels her personal experience would be an asset to those having to deal with gluteal tendinopathy. Previously, she was a member of an Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis research group and also on the panel for Multiple Sclerosis in Canada.
